Road Trip Through Olympic National Park

Road Trip Through Olympic National Park
Aug 22, 2023

To escape the Texas summer heat, Wimberly based photographer Kara Buse and her husband Bryan took a family road trip to Washington State's Olympic National Park, boasting an impressive one million+ acres of sprawling parkland. Wild coastlines and diverse ecosystems are a hallmark of the park, where both glacier topped mountains and temperate rain forests find a home.

Kara kindly offered her travel itinerary to those looking for a self guided retreat, full of misty beaches with bountiful driftwood, endless evergreen forests, and camp grounds that provide an idyllic setting for morning coffee. Her stunning photo journal offers us a glimpse into summer in the Pacific Northwest.
