Ruta Maya to Sponsor Aspen Ideas: Climate 2022

Ruta Maya is proud to announce our sponsorship of Aspen Ideas: Climate, a multi-day public event hosted by Aspen Ideas in collaboration with the City of Miami Beach and a diverse group of partner institutions in and beyond South Florida, addressing the realities of a changing climate. 

Spanning May 9-12, 2022, in Miami Beach, Florida, Aspen Ideas: Climate will bring together global and local policymakers, scientific experts, inventors and innovators, artists, young leaders, and engaged members of the public for a series of events, breakout sessions, tours of local and historic resilience points of interest, and cultural activities. This event is designed to offer the public a chance to interact, learn, and collaborate with leaders whose actions are critical to shaping our collective future. 

There is a growing understanding of the implications of shifting weather patterns in urban and rural areas alike. As an organic coffee company directly impacted by the environment, Ruta Maya is committed to supporting organizations working on practical solutions to protect our planet. Healthy soil, diverse insect and animal species, and consistent rainy seasons are essential for the livelihoods of farmers and the coffee we enjoy on a daily basis.
